Summer Lovin' 2013 Read-a-thon: Day 1

What's better to do than read, read, and read in the summer? To participate in a summer read-a-thon! I am very excited to participate, and especially to get to meet new people through twitter and blogs! Unfortunately, Juhina won't be able to participate because she won't have to time to do so.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself – Where are you from? What’s your favorite genre? What got you reading? – Be creative and show your individual personality!

A: Hi there! *waves* My name is Farah, and I'm 17 years young. I'm from Libya, but currently living in Canada. I'm a person who likes to get into all sorts of new stuff. I love drawing, playing the guitar, reading, and gaming. My older sister (Juhina) has always loved reading, and I kind of followed into her footsteps. Saw her read, and I wanted to read. I'd have to say that what really got me into reading are Jacqueline Wilson books. As I grew older, I was addicted to reading books by Meg Cabot. I can't really saw I have a favorite genre. I like all genres, but books that usually capture my heart are realistic fiction books. I'm not shy, I love food, and you should chat with me on twitter @froggyfay !

The books that I plan to read in this read-a-thon are:

45 Pounds (More or Less) by K.A. Barson
Earthbound (Earthbound, #1) by Aprilynne pike
This is W.A.R. by Lisa Roecker

If you are participating, link your blog down below! If you're only participating through twitter, don't forget to use the #SummerLovin13 hashtag! I will be updating what I read on twitter, so don't forget to check that out! Most of all, enjoy!

I liked the "Summer Lovin '" and his answer today is very interesting. Sorry if I wrote something wrong, I'm a Brazilian girl, my English is bad.

  6. Earthbound sounds really interesting and the cover is gorgeous. Every time I see it, I think Emma Watson. Whoever the model is looks a lot like her. Enjoy your reading!
