Hello lovely readers! Let me ask you a question. Have you ever picked up a book just by its cover? ok let me take a little bit further, have you ever picked up said book, was mesmerized by the cover and without looking at the synopsis you bought it? if you've said yes to the first or both questions then this post is for you! From time to time I am going to show you guys some upcoming YA titles along with their gorgeous covers and you guys let me know which one is your favorite. Of course each post will have a different theme so you will be able to compare between them!
Reflections
I love the texture of Beautiful Lies. It seems kind of light, and the girl seems kind of transparent as well. As for The Language Inside, it looks like the girl is lost in another world. I also love the reflection from the window of the train! Both covers seem sad, but beautiful!
I extremely love the cover of Narc. It's so weird, yet interesting to look at. It makes me think that sometimes we need to look at things in different angles. Very beautiful. As for The Shadow Society, I love that they aren't showing the character's face, but you kind of see a glimpse of him/her from the reflection of the puddle. The buildings are somehow there, but they're actually not reflected by the puddle, because if they were, they should have been upside down. Anyhow, very creative!

I'm definitely loving the cover for The Shadow Society, it's gorgeous Farah! I love the blues/greens and the way her reflection is in the water with the city underneath - it really fits the story I think:) This is such a fun feature!

I voted for Narc, but The Language Inside was my second choice. I love reflections on covers. it's so intersting to look at. Thanks for stopping by today =)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Lies by Jessica Warman was a spectacular read. I really enjoyed it and couldn't put it down for a moment. I recommend this one to everyone looking for a good mystery!
