This is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This Week's topic is books you wish you could read again for the first time. For us it would be basically any book that we have loved and basically could not put down and didn't want the book to end. However to narrow it down Juhina will talk about her top 5 choices and Farah will talk about her own top 5 choices.
*Juhina's Choices*
There is a hiearichal system for my bookshelf. The top are the best books and Harry Potter is way on the top. HArry potter opened up the world of reading for me. I laughed, ached, and cried along with my fictional friends. Harry potter was and is still a huge part of me. I never wanted it to end.
I read twilight right when it first came out. My friend suggested it to me and i'm like no thanks, i don't do vampires but she insisted. From the first page i was hooked. I loved the romance, the werewolves, jacob. I always wish that i would erase my memory of twilight so i can reread it again!
The Sweep Series
Hunter and Morgan. A world of Wicca and magik. Hunter's british accent. Birth secrets, betrayel and true love with a twist of dark magik. This is a 14 (i think) book series and i would recommend it to anyone who liked the secret circle and twilight.
Anna and the French Kiss
As soon as i finished this book i went back and read it again, this was how delicious this book was. Oh how i wish i read it again, laugh at the jokes and embarrassing moments as hard as the first time. This was one cute, hilarious, and butterfly inducing ride!
*Farah's Choices*
The Host
This is one of my favorite books of ALL FREAKING TIME! I honestly like it better than twilight, yes I do. Haha. At first I was just SO confused about it, but then in the middle and end, I was SO ADDICTED to it I just loved loved it and was so sad it had to end.
This is the FIRST Sarah Dessen book I read. And after reading most of her books, this remains my favorite and best. I loved the main character and how different she was. She wasn’t perfect, but found the perfect guy for her. Its an amazing story and I just loved it.
Going For The Record
This book is a PART of my heart. I have no IDEA why this isn’t a popular book! I recommend this to every living human. It touched me, and I love books that have a character that needs to deal with a loss and has to be strong during it. It was touching, and even though I cried a lot, I LOOOVED it.
The Hunger Games
Okay I have to admit, at first, I was like, what? Haha. But then I FELL IN LOVE! Lol im saying that about every book. Ahaha. But this story was so weird and I had to imagine A LOT of stuff, and I love doing that.
I felt like I was THERE while reading this book. And I couldn’t put it down AT ALL because I just had to find out the ending, like, NOW!
Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Okay really, who didn’t read this ADORABLE AND LOVELY AND HILARIOUS book? Want to laugh your BUT off? Go ahead and read this. I don’t think this is a “kiddish” book and honestly recommend it to ALL ages, because Juhina (who is 20) and I (who is 15) loved and enjoyed this book. We even went ahead to the library and bought the full collection.
Seems like Harry Potter is one everyones list this week. (Including mine) Great choices! :)
