This book is the best so far. Considering the fact that I'm kinda camera shy, I relate most to Diana, because I get annoyed when a camera is stuck in my face. Nothing really annoyed me other than Lauren's attitude. It was annoying.
This book was enjoyable all the way through. It was never really boring. There was a great ending and it was wrapped up nicely. I'd love to read other books from this author. I'm gonna have to find some more books from this author. The flow was great and it was at a good pace. I totally recommend this great book.

Winter's Tide is book four in the series,. It finds stepsisters Diana and Stephanie continuing to learn from life and from each other. In the middle of a hard winter and a terrible accident, the sisters are united when they come to the aid of a beached whale on the North Carolina shoreline. Yet their relationship is severely tested when Stephanie's brother is in a car accident, and the truth behind Diana's nickname emerges. More difficult lessons await, but there are gifts in the hardships, including the power of honesty, forgiveness, and faith.
Winters Tide is the 4th book in this series. I will say it was a wonderful book. Diana and Stephanie are still having trouble becoming friends. Stephanie is hiding a hurtful secret, and Diana is suspended at school. As if that isn't enough, Stephanie's brother crashed after drunk-driving, and both sisters grandma falls ill. When Stephanie lie is discovered, will Diana be able to forgive her??
This book is so good. I love Stephanie, because I react the same way when I hear someone has fallen ill. This realistic fiction book will have you turning pages. There was never a part in the book that annoyed me. I loved it through and through. The book was very enjoyable, and I don't think this book could be any better.
There was a happy ending, but it still left you wondering about some things. I'd love to read other books by this author, and I've already finished this series. I like how every chapter alternated between Diana and Stephanie's point of view. The flow was good, not too fast or not too slow. I highly recommend this series, because its a really great story. Anybody between the ages of 10-14 should try this book series.
I haven't heard of this series before, but it sounds like these were both great instalments. I'm pretty camera shy myself, so I reckon I could relate to Diana pretty well, too. I'm glad you enjoyed both books so well! Great reviews. :)

Thanks for sharing the double review. I haven't heard of this series before but it seems like Stephanie and Diana are going through quite a variety of experiences in the books. And I definitely hope that grandma recovers from her illness at the end of book 4.
