How far would you go to get revenge?
When Chelsea Givens discovered that her ex-boyfriend Drew dumped her to be with her former best friend Lizzie, she'd never felt so betrayed in her life. Then her new friend Shannon tells her she can help set things right. Chelsea's willing to listen, but what Shannon wants her to believe -- that she shared a past life with Drew -- is impossible. And what she wants her to do to get him back … well, it's downright crazy.
Could Shannon be telling the truth? And if she is, what lengths will Chelsea go if it means making Lizzie pay?
Find out in Vengeance, the second part of the Transcend Time Saga.
I was excited to start reading Vengeance, because this time, it was from Charlotte's point of view. Vengeance is a short story, (as you can see above, its only 64 pages). This is probably going to be a very short review, because it is a very short book.
It was mostly based on Charlotte, and I didn't get to see much of Lizzie. I really enjoyed reading those 64 pages, because it was exciting to know how Charlotte felt about the whole idea of Lizzie and Drew dating. Reading this has actually got me all excited into knowing what's going to happen in the next book.
Michelle's writing is really nice. It's not complicated, and it has a very nice flow to it. "Vengeance" was very interesting, and had a very unexpected twist to it, which totally heated things up! If you've read the first book of the series, "Remembrance", then you'll enjoy this short story.
3.5 music notes - I enjoyed it!
Sounds good! I love it when a book has a good twist that manages to catch me off guard. :) I haven't read the first one yet, so i will have to check that one out first.
ReplyDeleteI never read Remembrance but I love the covers for these books, cool review.Janiera @This is From my Heart
ReplyDeleteOh I'm reading this one tomorrow actually! I'm curious to find out what it's all about ;)
ReplyDeleteSounds like it was a great read.
ReplyDeleteYou've made me more interested in getting around to reading Remembrance! Thanks for the review, Farah. :)
ReplyDeleteHm, 64 pages does seem a little too short though. However, this isn't the first time I've heard some praise for Michelle Madow, so maybe I should give her books a try.
