acinda was supposed to bond with Cassian, the "prince" of their pride.
But she resisted long before she fell in love with Will—a human and, worse,
a hunter. When she ran away with Will, it ended in disaster, with Cassian's sister, Miram, captured. Weighed down by guilt, Jacinda knows she must rescue
her to set things right. Yet to do so she will have to venture deep into the heart of enemy territory.
The only way Jacinda can reach Miram is by posing as a prisoner herself,
though once she assumes that disguise, things quickly spiral out of her control.
As she learns more about her captors, she realizes that even if Will and Cassian
can carry out their part of the plan, there's no guarantee they'll all make it out alive. But what Jacinda never could have foreseen is that escaping would be
only the beginning....
Loyalties are tested and sacrifices made in the explosive conclusion to Sophie Jordan's Firelight trilogy.
Oh wow! It's so pretty. :D I love the red hair and I love how the font matches the colour of her eyes. I have only read the first one and it was an okay-ish book, but I might give the second one a go too. Hopefully I'll like that more and then I can have an excuse to put this one on my shelf! :)
ReplyDeleteooh i haven't read them but i LOVE the covers!
DeleteI have to agree that the first book was only okayish and that I have hopes for the rest of the series. I guess I have been scared to read Vanish because it is going to be the book that makes or breaks the series for me. Since I only sort of liked Vanish I'm expecting a lot from Vanish and I'm not sure if it will deliver so who knows if I'll even get around to reading Hidden when it releases.
DeleteI hope that you girls like this one if you give it a try though. :)
What a beautiful cover! I have to get the first two books in the series too and get reading.
ReplyDeleteI love the cover and I love the series so far! The second book got better than the first. A lot more action and answers in the second. I can't wait to see what happens next!!!
ReplyDeleteI never read them but love the covers!
ReplyDeleteI thought reading books like this will be boring or something, but when I started reading and fall in the characters, I realized that I’m starting not just to like it but I fell in love with the book.
