REVIEW: “One Night That Changes Everything" By Lauren Barnholdt - Farah

Title: One Night That Changes Everything
Author: Lauren Barnholdt
My rating: ★★★★★
Synopsis:  Eliza is in a full-blown panic. Her notebook has been stolen—the one that lists everything      she wants but is afraid to go after. And the absolute worst person in the world has it: her ex-boyfriend,  Cooper.
Like it’s not enough Cooper was lying to Eliza for their entire relationship, now he and his friends are  blackmailing her. They’re giving her just one night to complete the most humiliating tasks on her list or  they’ll post her secrets online—including the ones that aren’t just about her.
Eliza’s sure of only one thing: she isn’t going down without a fight. Cooper may have what’s left of her  dignity, but she’s not the only one with something to hide …

My Review:
This is a really… amazing book. It was one of those books that when i started, i just couldn’t put it down. After reading the synopsis, i wasnt that eager about starting it. My sister read it, and yea she told me to read it because it was nice. One day i was bored, i decided to start it. What i like about the author of this book, Lauren Barnholdt, is that she catches the reader’s attention from the start. The reason why i just couldnt put this book down was because at the beginning of the book, she added some suspense to it, so that really made me eager to continue reading. I also wanted to figure out what that “big” thing Eliza did that has been going around the school, and what that purple notebook was, and what had the secret society planned on doing with it. The idea of the book, and that purple notebook that Eliza carry’s, is unbelievably amazing. I really loved the idea, and i really thought it was beyond funny and creative. There was also some romance in it, which i like. It was regarding her ex-boyfriend Cooper who ployed her into becoming his girl-friend to get into a secret society in the school. I dont want to say more since i dont want this to be some kind of spoiler. Anyways, to sum this all up, i enjoyed it to the max. It was funny, cute, and fun to read. I really recommend this book because you will surely enjoy it.
